Artist Bio

Anna-Bella Randall is a multidisciplinary visual artist from Thunder Bay, Ontario, currently studying and working in Tkaronto (Toronto). Her work explores the themes of humour, change, justice/challenging societal norms, free art, human connection, nature, and femininity. Anna-Bella is a graduate from OCAD University with a BFA, majoring in Sculpture and Installation and minoring in Social Sciences. Her practice began with acrylic painting and has completed numerous portrait commissions of people and pets, and is presently moving into mural work and wall art. Anna-Bella has created wall art for numerous businesses in Thunder Bay and Tkaronto. Some notables include Gabby’s, Hey Lucy, The Carbon Bar, Carlito’s Board Game Cafe, and Nomad Bakery. Her mural for Nomad Bakery was voted Walleye Magazine’s Best of Thunder Bay 2021 for public art installations. Anna-Bella is dedicated to a life of perpetual learning and plans to continue to create ‘larger-than-life’ art by practicing mold-making, metalwork, graphic design, creative writing, illustration, and video installation. Anna-Bella is passionate about community art projects and committed to projects that make art accessible to all.
